I simply keep getting astonished by the creatures birds are. They look so delicate and fragile but can be predatory and deadly when needed. For instance the Black necked stork (picture below), a 4 to 5 feet tall bird with a 1 feet long beak looks so innocent but is a ruthless predator. Specially when it comes to protecting its offspring. If you notice there is an Eagle sitting besides the nest probably waiting for the mother stork to go away so that it can prey on the chicks.

This time it was quick and short trip to Sultanpur National Park. There was only one goal – Birding! Want to keep this blog simple, less textual and more Graphical. Hope you enjoy the snaps 🙂
